What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer or mobile device through your browser. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain stored for a defined period. First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting; third-party cookies are set by another provider (for example Google). On this site we use cookies only — no other tracking technologies, no tracking pixels.
Which categories do we use?
We use three categories: strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing/social media. No marketing pixels are active at present — the marketing category is prepared for the social and advertising tools we introduce as our channels roll out (see “Marketing and social media” below), and it loads only with your consent.

How does consent work on this site?
In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland nothing non-essential loads before you decide: the Google Analytics tag is requested only after you actively accept analytics cookies in the banner — until then, no request is sent to Google. The banner offers equally prominent “Accept all” and “Reject all” actions, plus granular “Preferences” where you can enable or disable the analytics category separately. Your choice is stored in the damz_consent cookie for 6 months; after that period we ask again. We keep a technical record of each decision (timestamp, banner version, choice, random identifier — without your IP address). Outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, where prior opt-in is not legally required, analytics may run by default — you can still object at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (tag G-KC63RSQ5XE) provided by Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC (USA). Data processed after your consent: cookie identifiers, truncated IP address and usage events (pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type). The reports we see are aggregated; analytics data retention in GA4 is up to 14 months. Transfers to Google LLC in the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses. How can you change or withdraw your choice?
At any time, with effect for the future: click Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your preferences, or delete cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Marketing and social media
As a B2B agency we maintain — or progressively roll out — a presence on professional and social networks, in line with our channel strategy. This covers organic activity (profiles, posts) and, where introduced, measurement and advertising tools. Any social or advertising pixel runs on doctoramz.com only after you consent to the marketing category in the cookie banner. Where a tool is not yet active it collects no data until it is enabled, and its activation stays within the marketing consent you gave. No marketing pixels are active at present.
- LinkedIn (our primary channel) — company page and posts; if introduced, the LinkedIn Insight Tag for campaign measurement (marketing category). Operator: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. Policy: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- X (Twitter) — the @doctoramz profile; if introduced, the X measurement pixel. Operator: Twitter International Unlimited Company.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — page and posts; if introduced, the Meta Pixel and remarketing. Operator: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Page statistics involve joint controllership with Meta (Page Insights). Policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- YouTube (Google) — video content; embedded videos load in privacy-enhanced mode or after consent.
- Reddit and Quora — participation and answers under our operator persona; no pixels are placed on our site.
- Google — Google Analytics (analytics category) and, if introduced, Google Ads remarketing (marketing category). Operator: Google Ireland Limited. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Reserved for future use and not yet active: Instagram and TikTok. Visiting any of our profiles means the platform also processes your data under its own policy, over which we have no control. When a marketing tool is activated, it is added to the cookie table above and loads only after your consent to the marketing category.
Legal framework
The use of cookies is governed by Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and — for personal data — the GDPR (consent: Art. 6(1)(a)). National implementations relevant to this site: Germany — § 25 TDDDG; France — Article 82 of Law No 78-17 (Informatique et Libertés) and CNIL guidelines; United Kingdom — PECR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025; Poland — Article 399 of the Electronic Communications Law (PKE).

Frequently asked questions
Does the site track me without consent? No. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland Google Analytics loads only after you accept the analytics category; before that only the strictly necessary cookie runs. No marketing pixel is active at all.
Do you use Facebook, LinkedIn or other social platforms? We maintain or are rolling out profiles on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit and Quora (Instagram and TikTok reserved). Their measurement/advertising tools run on our site only after you consent to the marketing category — none are active yet.
How do I change or withdraw consent? Click “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to reopen the banner with your current choice. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
Do I have to accept cookies to use the site? No. Analytics and marketing are fully optional; the site and its forms work identically either way. We use no cookie walls.
